At Duos, we do our part to harden the nation’s rail infrastructure for clients like CSX Transportation, Union Pacific Railroad, and Conrail. In fact, the industry tells us we’ve made a name as No. 1 in critical asset protection for railroads. With all due modesty, we would agree.

Duos has deployed and continues to deploy numerous sophisticated, turnkey, intelligent video and sensor based intrusion detection systems for a wide range of rail applications: in tunnels, along bridges, through sensitive rail corridors, for unauthorized rider detection along the southwestern border, in rail yards, intermodal yards, diesel tank farms, and so on. We also design and install automated, interactive, remote lift and bascule bridge control systems.

So it’s not surprising to people like Skip Elliott, VP of Public Safety and Environment at CSXT that we are gaining momentum among railroads and the Department of Homeland Security. With our current backlog of jobs for CSXT, a master agreement to provide more systems for the Union Pacific Railroad, and a number of unique solutions operating and in the works for Conrail and MTA, Duos Technologies emphasizes that our corporate commitment to the significance of rail transportation cannot be underestimated, and our belief that this robust and vital industry must not be compromised.
